We are looking for new members to join our team in a Care Support role! 

Kindred Home Care provides short and long term home support services, and respite care to individuals and families in the areas of personal care, activities of daily living, companionship, medication reminders, end of life care and home management. In a role as Care Support you will play a supporting role to members of the broader Kindred Home Care Team.  This is an entry level role where you will function as the hub of communication, supporting our caregivers, clients and their families.  Working remotely from home you will work in our system logging calls and serve as the frontline of customer support. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery Coordination & daily scheduling support on urgent coverage needs
  • Effective communication with staff, clients and families on schedule challenges
  • Answering a high volume of phone calls, emails and system tasks
  • General Administrative support and data entry
  • Establish Genuine Connections with Caregivers, Clients and Regional Teams
  • Maintain accurate schedules & caregiver availability records
  • Provide clarity, identify & escalate potential risks

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Comfort with technology
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Effective relationship-building skills, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to think quickly, re-prioritize tasks in an ever-changing environment
  • Experience in scheduling would be considered an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work from home with minimal supervision
  • Positive, flexible and reliable

Hours:

The role of Care Support provides support for our 24/7 operations and will share the responsibility of weekend and Holiday coverage through pre-booked scheduled shifts and on-call support. It is expected that the team will also share responsibility for last minute coverage support as required.
